Eggs eggs everywhere

We’ve rearranged all the stock now so that the chickens are enjoying the shade of the big ash tree and everything else is at the bottom of the big paddock, still awaiting the arrival of the soay sheep. The grass has slowed down loads, so becs hasn’t had to be on the mower so much. The plot is looking great and we are pleased with the new set up. All of our chickens are in the shed together, they seem to be working out the pecking order.

We candled the eggs that Tina is sitting on and at least 5 of the 8 are defo fertile, so as long as mamma T keeps doing her thing we should have chicks in 2 weeks! I’m really excitted about that, what a bonus, how brilliant was our cockerell 😦
