Electric Fence

I think I have just about worked out what we need in the way of fencing. I have found a mail order company who can supply the energiser, mains lead and 200 m of electric fencing for £800. We are going to ditch the idea of permenant fencing for now, and see how well the electric works. This gives us greater flexability if we change our minds about how we are going to use the plot. It’s also a bit cheaper as the permenant stock fencing quote cane in at about £1000 before VAT. To stop foxes getting underneath we will use chicken wire on the ground. Might sound like over kill, but it’s about time and effort as well as the upset of constantly loosing birds.
